Poultry Ban

Poultry ban (April 2015 - Present)

Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is taking precautionary action to protect Canada’s poultry resources from a reported presence of Avian influenza (AI) in the US. All raw human and pet poultry products that are sourced, processed, or packaged in the 13 affected US states are currently restricted from entering Canada. It’s important to note that this is a precautionary blanket measure and not a product recall, and these procedures are a normal part of Canada’s animal disease control efforts and consistent with international guidelines on trade.

Products affected: Stella and Chewy's and Primal poultry products (duck, chicken, turkey).  We encourage customers to support our local companies such as 3P and Irrawsistible, which are plenty available in our freezers!  We are also happy to recommend a temporary replacement meal for your dogs and cats.
